Canadians Shot at Dawn Memorial Association

My journey has officially begun visiting the graves of the 23 Canadians who were executed by the British court martial system during WW1.

In 2001 they were finally acknowledged by the Canadian government.

At each of the graves, I have been paying the respects they so long deserved.

My aim is to light a “Pathway of  Recognition and Acceptance” for these men leading to permanent memorials to be situated in France and Belgium.

I am also taking a paper rubbing of their headstones to be brought back to Canada for display.

Please check out "Projects" at the top of the page for more information on the Canadian Shot at Dawm Memorial Association - CSAD.
