Thiepval Memorial

The Thiepval Memorial is a British Memorial to the missing on the Somme Battlefields with more than 72,000 names that date right up until March 1918. This is a must see destination on your battlefield pilgrimage trail. Impressive and grandeur will barely signify anyone’s feelings as you enter the courtyard with this massive monument appearing before you. As you close in on the structure the never ending list of the names with no known grave will give anyone a moment to reflect.
